Custom-designed to suit you and your home, our Straight Drop Awnings will allow you to happily entertain outdoors and enjoy the fresh air in comfort and style.
Their special design makes them perfect for verandahs, patios or balconies – letting you easily manage the temperature of the indoor and outdoor living areas – keeping you warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Perfect for outdoor entertaining areas, Straight Drop Outdoor Blinds are a versatile, easy-to-use and very practical product for our Australian outdoor living conditions.
Straight Drop Blinds can be raised using a spring assist, crank handle, cord and pulley or motorisation for the most effortless use. This extensive range of options enables Straight Drop Blinds to be custom made to most circumstances, including openings up to 5.8m wide.
Specially created, latest generation shade mesh fabrics are designed for you to see out during the day and obstruct others’ ability to see in – maximising the sense of space. With holes so small, they allow only 1-2% of light through the fabric, you can provide great protection for your guests from wind and light showers. Our blinds are created using the very latest cutting and welding technology, ensuring there are no side hems and minimal joins.
Spring operated or crank operated Straight Drop Outdoor Blinds look great in outdoor areas, providing protection even when the weather is far from perfect.
Consider using a dark coloured mesh such as black or charcoal – but with so many options in our range, let us guide you through them at our Campbelltown display centre, or talk to one of our consultants about finding the right shade solutions for your home today!
The latest Veue system by Rollease Acmeda, one of Australia’s largest blind system designers, offers a comprehensive outdoor shading suite. With updated styling, it serves as a sleek, secure, and durable alternative to traditional Straight Drop Blinds. As South Australia’s premier partner for the Veue series, our customers have access to the same contemporary square cassette box of the popular Zipscreen Outdoor blind.
Instead of choosing the traditional scalloped or wave trim along the bottom edge of the flap, consider a square or straight flap to give a cleaner, modern look. Combine this with a single block colour fabric, especially a dark charcoal, for the current in-fashion style.

How does it work?
Straight Drop Blinds are comprised of a piece of fabric attached to an aluminium tube at the top, with a bottom bar encased within a fabric pocket.
Straps or clips can be attached to either end of the bottom rail, which in turn, will clip onto saddles on the post or ground. To raise and lower the blind you simply use your hands, a crank handle, a pull down stick or remote control to lower the blind and clip it into place – or undo the clips and raise the blind up and out of the way. Simple and easy! No Zips.
With Adelaide’s largest choice of outdoor fabrics, you can choose from a broad range of colours, patterns and textures – including traditional poly-cotton canvas from Hunter Douglas and Brella, the latest generation PVC coated woven polyester mesh, and acrylic fabrics.
