Crimsafe Warranty and Care Guide
Crimsafe Products manufactured by Stan Bond are a great investment in Security for your family. Once installed your investment requires on-going basic maintenance to ensure that it keeps providing a beautiful look and great security.
Instructions for Care
Crimsafe mesh is highly corrosion resistant, however, all mesh can trap airborne dirt and impurities, and over time these can give it a stained appearance. Staining of the mesh coating caused by a combination of salt, moisture and airborne impurities may result in reddish marks (airborne impurities) or ‘fluffy’ white marks (salt build up).
Be assured – Crimsafe mesh does not rust. It is made from 304 Grade Stainless Steel, which on its own has a lifespan of approximately 65 years. Crimsafe mesh is then coated with a high-quality powder coating to further protect and enhance the finished product.
Regular maintenance involves a wash down of frames and mesh with Crimsafe Wash and Wax (or a regular car wash and wax) in warm water using a soft bristle brush (bannister brush), followed by a clean water rinse.
Use this table as a guide to how frequently you should clean your Crimsafe product.
IMPORTANT: Failure to adhere to this cleaning schedule will void the Crimsafe product warranty.
