Tensile-Tuff® Mesh: The heart of every Crimsafe Ultimate and Classic screen is our exclusive Tensile-Tuff mesh, made from 0.9mm 304 structural-grade stainless steel. This mesh is 26.5% thicker than the 0.8mm 316 marine-grade mesh most competitors use. The result is a mesh that is exceptionally resistant to cutting, impact, and corrosion. Even if an intruder can get past the frame, they won’t be able to penetrate the mesh itself.
Screw-Clamp™ Technology: Our patented Screw-Clamp system securely fastens the Tensile-Tuff mesh to the frame with a vice-like grip. Crimsafe’s Tensile-Tuff® mesh is made from incredibly strong stainless steel and is designed to resist cutting. It undergoes rigorous knife shear testing to ensure it can withstand attacks. While it might be possible to damage the mesh with specialized tools, it’s highly resistant to cutting with common tools like knives.
While it’s technically possible to install a pet door in a Crimsafe door, it’s strongly discouraged by Crimsafe since doing so will compromise the security of the door and void your Crimsafe warranty.
